Our courses are designed to focus on practical experience. We manage and look after more than 1,000 animals in our extensive zoos, collections, and farms across our London campuses at Crystal Palace Park, Enfield, Gunnersbury Park and Mottingham.
Our animal collection ranges from mammals and birds, to reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates. Each campus has dedicated training facilities and resources, including exotic and aquatic rooms, aviaries, large animal enclosures and paddocks.
All of my experiences have certainly allowed me to become a great candidate for future employment opportunities and I give the College a huge thank you for helping me begin my journey towards a career in conservation!Tolga is now a well established conservation biologist, writer, and environmental photojournalist.
Zookeepers are responsible for maintaining the health, safety, and welfare of different types of animals. They work closely with animals to spot signs of disease, stress, or injury.
You can specialise in keeping turf in top condition for sports events such as football, cricket, rugby, tennis and golf. These careers incorporate soil science, pest control and more.
A zoologist studies animals and their behaviour. They study specific species and populations of animals, and work in the field, out in captivity, or in a laboratory.
