This course will give you an insight into the creative world of floral design. The course allows you to express your own creativity and personality through a host of various styles and materials of your choice. In addition, you learn how to create a range of techniques and manipulate alternative materials that will enhance your weekly designs. You will also explore and experiment with the use of mixed mediums such recyclable and biodegradable materials.

This course requires additional private study for completion of course.

To achieve this qualification you will have to successfully:

  • create a research project
  • File of techniques
  • Final design assessment

Entry requirements
You will need at least one of the following:

  • an explored interest in art and design.
  • passion for creativity
  • enthusiasm for learning

You may be asked to attend an interview to explore your interests, experience and ambitions so that we can help you study. References are also considered.

What next after your course?
Successful completion of this course will enable you to progress to the Floral Design Certificate (Art & Design Level 3).
