Royal Horticultural Society courses at Capel Manor College
The RHS Level 2 Certificate in Horticulture is one of our most popular horticulture qualifications and includes a theory course (Plant Growth and Development) and a practical course (Practical Horticulture). Choose your course and campus when applying. To take both in one year, an interview is required. We recommend completing the theory course first.
City & Guilds horticulture courses at Capel Manor College
City & Guilds courses focus on job-ready skills through hands-on outdoor learning. You will gain real experience in plant care, landscaping, and garden maintenance, with key theory included to build confidence and competence for the horticulture industry.
Pathway courses in partnership with The King's Trust
Pathway courses are for 16–19 year olds (or those up to age 24 with an EHCP) interested in outdoor, land-based learning. You will also complete a King’s Trust qualification through practical, community-based projects.
