Course overview
If you use pesticides in a commercial role, you are legally required to hold a certificate of competence in the safe application of pesticides using specific equipment.
This one-day training course will run from 9am to 4pm. Assessment will take place on an additional day and will be arranged during your training.
All training and assessment for this qualification is undertaken with a broadcast sprayer with air assistance. You will be independently assessed with one-to-one questioning and a practical test.
You will learn
- The preparation and use of a broadcast sprayer with air assistance
- How to read and interpret product labels for application by broadcast air assistance
- Calibration of a broadcast sprayer, with air assistance
- Operation, cleaning and storage of a sprayer
City & Guilds Level 2 Award in the Safe Application of Pesticides Using Variable Geometry Boom or Broadcast Sprayers (PA3)
