This course provides learners with the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to use a pole pruner safely and effectively.
If you are required to use a pole pruner during your work, you need to ensure you have received the most relevant training to enable you to use the equipment safely and succesfully.

- How to identify hazards associated with powered pole pruners
- How to assess risks and apply appropriate control measures
- Relevant legislation and industry good practice
- Carrying out maintenance on powered pole pruners

You must be aged 19+ to enrol on to this course. You must bring in your own personal protective equipment (PPE).

Government funding is not available for this course; you will need to pay for your tuition, exams and materials. The fee shown for each campus and course start date is the total fee that you will need to pay.
For some of our courses, we offer a discount for current students. If this is the case, you will see the reduced fee when you select your chosen course campus and start date. To qualify for this discount, you must already be studying another course at Capel Manor College, and be adding this course to your existing programme.
