Course overview
Are you asked to plant up a design or have you been frustrated with a lack of knowledge of your landscaping team?
This helpful planting workshop has been designed for designers. You will learn some basic practical skills to add to your skills portfolio.
You will also gain an understanding of plants and what they need to survive.
You will learn
- How to lay out in real terms
- How to plant perennials, shrubs and trees
- Practical application of horticulture skills
- The pitfalls of planting plans when they meet reality
Although there is no formal qualification associated with this course, all participants will receive a Capel Manor College Certificate of Attendance upon completion of the course.
No formal entry requirements are required, however a keen interest in gardening is vital.
Successful completion of this course will allow you to progress on to The Seasonal Gardener, The Maintenance Gardener, The Professional Gardener, or Garden Design Certificate (Level 2).
