Course overview
Wildflower meadows are growing increasingly popular and are often seen in many parks and gardens.
If you would like to help biodiversity thrive in your garden space or would like to turn an area of lawn into a wildflower meadow, this one-day workshop will show you how.
This workshop is ideal for anyone that loves the movement, colours and the textures afforded in wildflower meadows, but struggles to find success. You will learn what can be achieved and how, even in a small space.

- The best time to plant a wildflower meadow
- The best time to cut a wildflower meadow
- The different types of wildflowers and what preparation they need to thrive
Although there is no formal qualification associated with this course, all participants will receive a Capel Manor College Certificate of Attendance upon completion of the course.
No formal entry requirements are required, however a keen interest in gardening is vital.
Successful completion of this course will allow you to progress on to The Seasonal Gardener, The Maintenance Gardener or The Professional Gardener.
