Are you considering studying a technical qualification but need more time to get ready?

Our Diploma in Floristry (Level 2), is a foundation course that will equip you with the relevant practical skills, knowledge, study abilities, work experience and tailored support to move onto a full time technical qualification. This course will provide you with an opportunity to develop your English, maths and digital skills. You will benefit from individual support and personal development which are key elements needed for you to progress onto and succeed on your chosen floristry course path.

As this is a preparatory course designed to prepare you for the more rigorous demands of a full technical course, you will only need to complete one multiple-choice, online exam and assessment components are graded as Pass, Merit or Distinction.

You will need at least four GCSEs at grade 3 and above (D and above) including maths and English. You will have studied GCSE science and/or have completed a Level 1 Land-Based Diploma or equivalent at Merit grade or above. We will also consider your prior learning and any experience gained in an appropriate professional environment.

Before you start your course, if you are aged between 16 and 18 years, you will be invited to attend a fun and practical one-day preparation workshop where you will meet your tutors and other students on your course. Further details of this will be provided at your admissions interview.

Successful completion of this course will enable you to progress onto a technical floristry course.
