Certificate in Creative Craft – Balloon Artistry (Level 3)

Course overview

This course in creative craft develops your knowledge of current balloon design and decor to an advanced level using both traditional and contemporary balloon artistry styles and techniques.

The course is suitable if you have a Level 2 certificate or have previously attended an intermediate balloon course. You will create a range of both air filled and helium filled designs using a variety of different balloons to an intermediate level and develop your previous practical skills to develop and expand your creativity.

  • How to price designs effectively
  • How to work with different types of balloons

Certificate in Creative Craft – NCFE Reference: 60332530

A Pass grade for a Level 2 balloon artistry course or equivalent. Previous industry experience in balloon design and decor, or attendance at another intermediate balloon course. A willingness and commitment to learn new skills. Enthusiasm for working with balloons and alternative mediums.

Successful completion of this course will help you gain employment in the industry as a bespoke balloon decor designer and progress to specialist advanced workshops, or attend one of our Level 2 courses in event styling, event planning or floristry. You can also progress to one of our Level 3 creative event management courses.

This course is part-funded by the ESFA (Education and Skills Funding Agency) or Greater London Authority (GLA) for those that are eligible.

If you are aged 16, 17 or 18 at the start of the course, your tuition, exams and materials fees will be paid for you in full as long as you meet some basic criteria for UK residence (more information can be found on our Fees and Funding page).

If you are aged 19 or over on the day your course starts, you may be entitled to help with tuition fees subject to criteria. If you receive employment benefits, have a low income, or are studying towards your first substantial qualification, you may be entitled to free tuition. For some of our courses, we offer a discount for current students. If this is the case, you will see the reduced fee when you select your chosen course campus and start date. To qualify for this discount, you must already be studying another course at Capel Manor College, and be adding this course to your existing programme.
