Course overview
This is a one day per week course delivered over 20 weeks and is ideal for beginners wishing to expand their interest, knowledge and skills with relation to leathercraft.
The course forms part of a suite of vocational Level 1 qualifications in fashion and textiles with a focus on leathercraft. You will acquire the relevant skills and knowledge needed to support progress into further education/training or employment within the leathercraft industries.

You must have a willingness and commitment to learning new skills, as well as an enthusiasm for working with leather and creativity.
Successful completion of the course will lead to personal development in the leather skills area, as well as building your confidence. You could also progress onto one of our saddlery or shoemaking courses (provided entry requirements are met).
