We want you to feel welcome, safe and valued while you are studying with us. We offer specialist support to help you in a variety of areas, whether you need careers guidance, learning support, or someone to talk to about personal difficulties that you may be facing, we are here to help you.
Counselling is available, by appointment, to you at all of our campuses. It is provided by qualified therapeutic counsellors. Contact with or referrals to other agencies such as local mental health teams may also be made on your behalf.
Careers advice and guidance is available from the College’s careers advisers who can support students in their career planning and development, along with assistance for Higher Education applications. All students have access to impartial careers education, information, advice and guidance across various areas, including one-to-one sessions, CV writing, interview techniques, mock interviews and an annual careers fair attended by numerous industry professionals.
Course representatives are elected for each course group to provide you with the opportunity to feedback your views and experiences of your course to tutors and the College Senior Leadership Team.
Mentoring is available at all of our campuses. Our mentors will help you to develop broader skills for personal or career development whilst focusing on your future. They will also help you to organise your coursework and any issues you may have completing it.
