Welcome to Capel Manor College
From our humble beginnings in 1968 as a horticultural college in Enfield with around 15 students, today Capel Manor College is London’s environmental college, with five campuses spread across the capital.

Our courses have been designed in close liaison with the land-based industry, and they will equip you with the skills and experience you need to meet the demands of the employment market, both in the UK and across the world. We offer hundreds of courses across a diverse range of subjects including agriculture, arboriculture, animal care, business skills, conservation, floristry, garden design, horticulture, landscaping, leatherwork, wildlife, and zoology.
As specialists in our sector, we have some of the best resources, the strongest links with employers, and ample opportunities to help manage our gardens, farms, zoos and commercial businesses, which all look amazing on your CV. As part of your studies at Capel Manor College, you will also have the opportunity to travel abroad, take part in national shows and competitions such as the Hertfordshire County Show, The Game Fair and the Royal Horticultural Society’s Chelsea Flower Show, where our students have previously won Gold.
As an apprentice at the College, you can earn whilst you learn through hands-on training, enabling you to gain confidence in the working environment of the industry you wish to start a new career in.
