Course overview
In this course, you will learn about the most common vineyard pests and diseases in England, how to identify them, what preventative measures can be taken, and what treatments are available when disease does occur.
You will also go out into the vineyard to monitor the status of the vines here at Forty Hall Vineyard, and end the course with a short theory test to reinforce the newly learned material.

Although there is no formal qualification associated with this course, all participants will receive a Capel Manor College Certificate of Attendance upon completion of the course.
No entry requirements however, an interest in the subject area is key.
You can progress to one of our other courses in viticulture and oenology.
