Certificate of Competence in the Safe Use of Abrasive Wheel Machines (Level 2)

Course overview

This course covers the use of abrasive wheel machines used for grinding or cutting and includes inspecting abrasive wheels and machines for damage, selection, fitting and adjustment of an abrasive wheel and the operation of abrasive wheel machines within a specific industrial environment.

The qualification certificate will state either “bench mounted” or “portable hand held” plus either “electric”, “compressed air” or “engine driven” depending on the machine used.
