Course overview
Our free, online, three-week course is perfect if you are looking to improve or refresh your everyday maths skills, and boost your confidence in numeracy. From managing your household bills to helping your children with homework, having a good foundation in maths can help make everyday life that little bit easier.
Have you ever noticed how often you need numeracy skills in daily life? Improving your maths skills can help you in various day-to-day activities including: calculating travel times, shopping at the supermarket, tipping at restaurants, following cooking recipes and comparing financial products.
It is widely documented that adults with poor numeracy skills are twice as likely to be unemployed, and those with at least basic maths skills can expect to earn a quarter more than those who lack the necessary skills to solve mathematical problems. It is never too late to improve your maths skills, and our Everyday Numeracy Skills online course is a quick and simple way to get started.
