Explore the art of photography in the breathtaking surroundings of Capel Manor College Enfield Campus. This NCFE Level 1 accredited course is perfect for beginners (or anyone who stays within the comfort zone of Auto mode). You will learn in our beautifully landscaped gardens, complete with fountains, woodlands, animals, vibrant floral displays and of course the historic Capel Manor house - an inspiring setting for creativity.

This hands-on course is designed to build your confidence in photography, creative direction and composition.

Whether you are completely new to photography or looking to move beyond Auto mode, this course offers a welcoming environment to develop your skills. Our wheelchair-accessible classrooms and gardens ensure the course is inclusive and accessible for all.

No previous experience required. You will need at least two GCSEs at grade 2 and above (E and above) and have studied GCSE English and Maths or Functional Skills at grade 3 or above (D and above). You must be aged 19 years or over.

Successful completion of this course will support you to progress into employment in creative industries including photography, art and design, craft, animation and moving image production.

This course can also support you to progress onto further qualifications at Level 2 in creative subjects including photography, art and design, craft, animation and moving image production. Some courses include Art and Design (Level 2), Certificate in Creative Craft (Art and Design) (Level 2), Certificate in Photography (Level 2).
