Crystal Palace Park Farm

Located in the historic Crystal Palace Park, this charming city farm is home to a wide range of animals.

A great day out for children, who get the opportunity to meet and greet the animals as well as learn about the running of a working farm.

Opening Times*

The Farm is open daily from 12.00pm to 3.30pm, excluding Wednesdays.

The Farm is also open on bank holidays.

 

Please note, the Farm will be closed Friday 27 June 2025.

Study at Crystal Palace Park Farm

Crystal Palace Park Farm is part of our Crystal Palace Park Campus which offers courses in animal management. Students studying with us are able to learn first-hand skills as they help to care for the animals at the Farm.

School visits

The base visit time is one hour. At this time, we are only able to offer visits on Mondays, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays between 10am and 3pm.

Group entry  

Have a stroll around the farm at your own leisure looking at all our animals, you will be greeted on the Farm by a keeper who will provide a health and safety talk to the group and will also have a bucket of food for the group to be able to feed the goats and sheep on the farm. Please note, entry does not include the Exotics Room. 

Cost: £60

Guided tour (maximum group size 30 students)

Why not let one of our experienced keepers guide you and your group around the Farm, letting you get up close and personal with our animals large and small! Here you will find out not only about the animal and their species, but also their cheeky personalities too. If your students require a specific topic then please let us know when booking. You will also have a chance to feed the animals too.

Cost: £100 on top of the entry fee 

Animal encounters

For a truly wild experience, why not get completely hands on with some of our small critters on the Farm? Say hello to slithery snakes, meet a rabbit or learn about what happens in an egg. Our 45-minute animal handling sessions explain the basics and we learn about mini beasts, mammals, amphibians and reptiles in a fantastically interactive session. If your students need require a specific topic, please let us know when booking. 

This option is in addition to the guided tour price and is not currently available individually.

Entry is free to the public and donations are gratefully received. We also accommodate school visits, where children can learn in a fun classroom setting and see sustainability in action.

The Farm has toilet facilities and is a short distance away from the National Sports Centre. There are handwashing facilities throughout the Farm.
