Students Achieve Strong Level 3 Results at Capel Manor College

Capel Manor College is celebrating another year of strong Level 3 results, achieved by our dedicated and hard-working students.

With an 87.7% overall student achievement rate – the second highest for any land-based college in the country – we are incredibly proud of what our learners have accomplished, supported by the commitment and expertise of our teaching staff.

Our students are passionate about animals, nature, and the environment, and are taught by tutors with real-world experience in the land-based sector. This year, 90% of learners progressed to the next level of study, university, or into employment, highlighting the effectiveness of vocational learning and the opportunities it can unlock.

Rachel, who studied for a BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Animal Management, achieved an impressive three Distinction* grades.
“I’m really proud of what I got!” she said. “I’m going to be taking a gap year to get some work experience, and I’m hoping to go to South Africa to do conservation work before going to university.”

Lily, who achieved a Merit in her BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Animal Management, is staying on at the College to continue her journey.
“I really want to be a veterinary surgeon,” she said, “so I’m going to be studying the Access to Higher Education Diploma at Capel Manor College.”

Principal Peter Brammall commented:

“Once again, we are able to witness some exceptional achievements from our students with a sense of immense pride. The fact we have the second highest achievement rate for a land-based college in the country is a testament to both the hard work of our students and the dedication of our staff who create such an incredible environment for our learners.”

Enrolment for courses starting in September begins on Wednesday 20 August, with a Post-GCSE Advice Day on Friday 22 August. Prospective students will have the opportunity to meet tutors, explore our campuses, and secure their place on the day.
