Employers Invited to Co-Design New Training Programmes at Capel Manor College

Capel Manor College is calling on forward-thinking employers across London to join them in shaping the next generation of Skills Bootcamps.

These programmes are designed to equip people with the skills needed to enter or progress within key industries. The Skills Bootcamps focus on areas with growing demand, including green skills, digital, land-based industries, green construction, and business support.

To ensure the training reflects real-world requirements, Capel Manor College is asking employers to help co-design the programmes.

“Skills Bootcamps are not just another training programme. They’re a strategic tool for employers who want to invest in the future of their business and their sector,” said Sam Black, Assistant Principal for Employer Skills, Innovation and Growth. “We’re inviting employers to sit alongside us and co-design training that works. Not just for learners, but for the businesses they’ll work in.”

Why should employers get involved?

  • Influence the course content and delivery to match your industry’s needs
  • Recruit from a pool of motivated, job-ready candidates
  • Upskill your current staff with relevant, funded training
  • Support more inclusive hiring by connecting with diverse talent
  • Play a vital role in closing skills gaps across your sector

Capel Manor College has built strong partnerships with employers and is known for delivering high-quality, hands-on education. This new initiative offers businesses a unique opportunity to shape future training from the ground up.

“This is a chance for employers to take an active role in developing training that truly meets their needs,” said Sam Black. “It’s not just about filling vacancies. It’s about shaping a better-skilled, more confident workforce for the future.”
