Capel Manor College Celebrates First Virtual Open Day Success

More than 260 prospective students tuned into Capel Manor College’s first ever Virtual Open Day on Wednesday 17 June 2020, which featured individual subject breakout rooms with course tutors and live Q and As.

The event provided students with the opportunity to explore the College’s courses in animal management, arboriculture, agriculture and environmental conservation, horticulture and garden design, floristry and event styling, leatherwork and more.

Head of Marketing and Communications, Angela White, said “Our first Virtual Open Day was a huge success. We really missed having the opportunity to meet people face-to-face, but this was a fantastic alternative that enabled prospective students to meet tutors virtually and ask questions live.”

Although the world is a little uncertain right now, our Vice Principal, Christine Bianchin, reassured students that the College will be open from September, and that the appropriate measures have been put in place to ensure the College is as safe as possible for all students and staff.

Christine said “A vital part of your study experience at Capel Manor College is the practical skills you learn. Our courses will definitely run in September and you will gain the hands-on skills needed to succeed in your future career.”

We would like to thank everyone who attended our first Virtual Open Day. If you missed the event, don’t worry – you can watch all the videos on demand here.
