Enfield Campus

Our Enfield Campus is surrounded by 30 acres of idyllic parkland that includes 60 gardens and landscapes, a beautiful Georgian manor house, restaurant, flower shop, dog grooming salon, and zoo with over 75 species of animals.

Capel Manor College’s Enfield Campus also runs nearby Forty Hall Farm, a certified organic farm that includes a community market garden and orchard, a local veg bag scheme, a Farm Shop and London’s only organic commercial vineyard. The Farm also serves as an educational resource for Capel Manor College’s students.

The first group of students began training in 1968. There were twelve students then - we now have thousands!

Capel Manor estate records go back to the 13th century, whilst the present Georgian manor house can be traced back to 1750.

Which? Gardening magazine run their trial gardens within the Enfield Campus.

Facilities

Our Enfield Campus learning facilities include state-of-the-art greenhouses, polytunnels, laboratories, Victorian stables, workshops and classrooms.

Our students are able to apply their learning to practical outdoor lessons across our gardens and woodland, and caring for our animals at Forty Hall Farm and the zoo. We also provide students studying floristry and dog grooming with the opportunity to gain real-world work experience.
