An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Team Leader in Animal Management

The Team Leader contributes and leads on quality assurance procedures and ensure a high quality of provision in response to student and employer/industry needs. The team leader will directly manage practical instructors and encounters officers, ensuring high standards of learning for our students, and animal welfare at our Mottingham campus.

As part of the role, the Team Leader will be lecturing and managing a cohort of students. Therefore, the ideal candidate will hold a teaching qualification (PGCE or DTTLS) or willingness to work towards qualification and at least a HND, degree or similar in a science or animal related discipline. Experience of working in the Animal Management industry and in education is essential.

The successful candidate will be leading, managing and developing the curriculum area within the parameters set by the Director of Studies and Curriculum Leaders in Animal Management & Saddlery. The candidate will work collaboratively and innovatively with staff to foster and lead a culture of self-assessment and continuous improvement, promoting high standards of teaching and learning within the area, and producing high standards of student achievement, progression and value added.
