An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced SpLD and Dyslexia Support Tutor to join our fantastic Learning Support Team. You will be pivotal in supporting students and staff in helping our learners to achieve their dream of gaining qualifications to enable them to work in Land Based Industries.
The successful candidate will have experience in working with learners with a range of Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) and/or disabilities in a Further education setting. They will have a good understanding of exam access arrangements, SpLD support assessments, support strategies, expert knowledge of how learners can utilise technology to develop strategies to support their needs, and have excellent communication, IT, organisation and interpersonal skills.
The ideal candidate will be confident in working with staff and students, providing advice, support and training. Candidates must demonstrate their commitment to supporting all learners who require support on their chosen course, enabling them to access the curriculum and progress in their chosen career. They will provide support to enable students to become more independent and ready for the world of work.
