Over the last 50 years, Capel Manor College has helped thousands of school leavers and adults achieve their dream of working with animals, plants and the environment.  As London’s environmental college, the College plays a vital role in the green agenda for the capital, equipping the next generation of land-based sector workers with the skills and knowledge needed to preserve and protect London’s wildlife, national parks and green spaces. 


An exciting opportunity has arisen at Capel Manor College and we are now seeking to appoint a School Visitor Leader to work within the Commercial and Events team.

The Commercial team work across the College, Gardens and Forty Hall Farm to drive additional revenue for the College.


The individual in this role will be an integral part of the wider Commercial Operations team, collaborating closely with the Events team to contribute to the successful execution of educational school visits. The primary responsibilities include organising and overseeing a schedule of engaging activities combined with an enthusiastic and engaging delivery style.

The role is subject to school visits demand. Ordinarily the majority of school visits occur from March to July.


The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding to meet the diverse needs of pupils. Their skill set should include the ability to cultivate positive working relationships with individuals at all levels, demonstrating effective communication both orally and in writing and have a keen organisational aptitude. Teaching experience in the primary phase or early years is essential. Additionally, it is desirable candidates have experience working with groups with additional needs.
