Remember a loved one with an “in memorial” gift

Capel Manor College and Gardens Remembrance Collection

Many families and friends choose to give a gift to Capel Manor College and Gardens to celebrate the life of a loved one, their interest in gardening or their enjoyment of Capel Manor Gardens. Gifts to the Capel Manor Remembrance Collection helps us maintain Capel Manor’s historical and glorious site for all to enjoy with donations put towards areas available for development or those which need the most attention across our 30-acre site.

Legacy gifts

If you would like to include Capel Manor College and Gardens in your Will, any donation large or small will shape the future of the college and gardens and those visiting or learning within them for generations to come. You do not need to have a certain amount to leave a legacy donation to Capel Manor.

If you are looking to create your Will or need expert advice, we work in partnership with Enfield based solicitors, who are able to provide a professional legal service to create your Will. 

Memorial Wall plaques

Memorial plaques are the perfect long lasting tribute to celebrate the life of a friend or loved one. There are a range of plaques and spaces available on our Millennium Wall, which is situated at the College entrance. Your plaque would join a number of existing memorial tributes and sponsorship dedications.

Memorial tributes in the gardens

Across our gardens we can offer a range of peaceful spaces to host a memorial bench to dedicate to a friend or family member. All our memorial benches are made available through our suppliers Chic Teak, who offer sustainably supplied hard wood benches built to last. Throughout the gardens we are also able to offer stakes in the ground holding memorial plaques.

Please note at this time we are unable to dedicate or plant trees as a memorial. All memorial additions to the garden are subject to being moved if needed for the development of the gardens. You will be contacted if your memorial tribute is likely to be impacted. Capel Manor College is a public venue and cannot accept liability for any damage to memorial tributes.
