Ivor landed skills that matter
I have always been good at working with my hands, so I knew I wanted to do something practical like learn a skill or trade. I have gained confidence in myself to trust the skills I have learned and put them into practice.Ivor studied arboriculture and forestry during his time at the College.
Career prospects

Tree Surgeon
A tree surgeon is responsible for the care and general treatment of trees to keep them healthy. They also plant new trees or take trees down if they are unsafe.

Forester
Foresters manage designated forests or woodland areas and oversee activities such as conservation and recreation.

Tree Surveyor
The role of a tree surveyor is an important one, as they undertake surveys on trees to help property managers or homeowners make informed decisions.
