The course introduces you to a variety of floristry designs, skills and techniques. The content covers tied, floral arrangements, wired designs and glued work. The qualification requires you to complete two units consisting of a planted design, four elements including the conditioning process, wastage records, deliveries of perishable goods and creating a display of flowers. To achieve your qualification, a 15 question online multiple choice paper on Health and Safety must be achieved.
There are no formal entry requirements to this course. You do not need previous experience, just a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in floristry. Relevant prior learning experience in an appropriate professional environment will be considered.
What next after your course?
Successful completion of this course will help build your confidence and you could progress to our Art and Design (Level 2) or Professional Floristry Award, Certificate or Diploma (Level 2).
