Principles of Organic and Biodynamic Viticulture

Course overview

Climate change demands changes to agriculture. Alternative vine growing methods can contribute to more sustainable farming practices.

In this one-day workshop you will learn the key teachings of organic and biodynamic viticulture and how you can implement more sustainable practices in your vineyard. Hands-on practice in the afternoon in our certified organic vineyard enhances classroom teaching in the morning.

Although there is no formal qualification associated with this course, all participants will receive a Capel Manor College Certificate of Attendance upon completion of the course.

No entry requirements but an interest in the subject area is key.

Upon completion of this course, you can progress to one of our other courses in viticulture and oenology.
