Course overview
This workshop is an ideal introduction to slab laying including learning about the all-important sub-base. Laying slabs is a key skill for any landscaper or person wanting to add a patio to their garden space.
If you are a garden designer wanting to understand the processes involved in hard landscaping, then this workshop is also ideal for you.
You will learn
- How to lay slabs
- The basics of sub-base build up
- How to lay slabs in grid and random patterns
Although there is no formal qualification associated with this course, all participants will receive a Capel Manor College Certificate of Attendance upon completion of the course.
No formal entry requirements are required, however a keen interest in gardening is vital.
Successful completion of this course will allow you to progress on to The Seasonal Gardener, The Maintenance Gardener, The Hard Landscaper or The Professional Gardener.
