This course will provide you with comprehensive knowledge of the retail floristry industry at an advanced level. Your studies will be enriched by practical industry experience, industry visits and personal creative exploration.
This course will require additional private study to successfully complete course assignments. You will create portfolios of evidence and complete written assignments and practical assessments.

Advanced Technical Diploma in Floristry (540) – City & Guilds of London Institute Reference: 60174444
At least four GCSEs at grade 4 and above (A* – C). An overall Merit or above in a Floristry Diploma (Level 2) or equivalent. Relevant prior learning or experience gained in an appropriate professional environment will be considered. You must be aged 19 and over to enrol on this course.
Successful completion of this course will help you gain employment in the industry as a senior florist or obtain a managerial position. You will also be able to progress to our Higher Diploma in Floristry (Level 4) which can lead to becoming a Master Florist or higher education.
This course is part-funded by the ESFA (Education and Skills Funding Agency) or Greater London Authority (GLA) for those that are eligible.
If you are aged 16, 17 or 18 at the start of the course, your tuition, exams and materials fees will be paid for you in full as long as you meet some basic criteria for UK residence (more information can be found on our Fees and Funding page).
If you are aged 19 or over on the day your course starts, you may be entitled to help with tuition fees subject to criteria. If you receive employment benefits, have a low income, or are studying towards your first substantial qualification, you may be entitled to free tuition. For some of our courses, we offer a discount for current students. If this is the case, you will see the reduced fee when you select your chosen course campus and start date. To qualify for this discount, you must already be studying another course at Capel Manor College, and be adding this course to your existing programme.
Please note that fees for September 2023 have not yet been finalised, and are subject to a small increase. Applicants will be notified of final course fees before enrolling.
