This apprenticeship will further develop and enhance your knowledge and practical skills in environmental conservation, enabling you to adapt to changes across the countryside sector. You will build confidence and technical knowledge at a level required for supervisory roles within the industry. This training is delivered at the College in a block release pattern.

Entry requirements
You will need to:

  • be at least 16 on entry
  • have proven abilities in English and Maths which are equivalent to GCSE grade 4 and above (C and above)
  • have a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Environmental Conservation, a Wildlife, Conservation and the Countryside Diploma (Level 2) or equivalent
  • be employed within the relevant industry, working on average at least 30 hours per week under a contract of employment
  • be acting in a supervisory capacity or have the opportunity to do so while on the programme.

What next?
Successful completion of this course will enable you to continue in employment at a supervisory level within the industry or progress to higher education.
